City Quietly Turns Down A $50 Million Housing Development
The City of Moose Jaw has quietly turned down a developer proposing to build a $50 million multi-unit housing development on the former Union Hospital property and a $1.5 million ten year sponsorship naming rights deal for the Moose Jaw Events Centre.
The developer was proposing 200 units as well as retail space on the ground floor.
The sticking point for some in the City is the $1 offer for the land with the developer 100 percent responsible for any environmental cleanup
Despite this the developer is not giving up on the City for what he called the bias of a couple of people in Administration
