Search For Missing Person Has Sad Ending

Following a lengthy and extensive search, 80-year-old Glen Bell who had been previously reported missing, was found deceased in a remote greenspace area within the Moose Jaw city limits on June 28, 2024, at approximately 12:00 p.m.

His next of kin has been notified.

The search for Bell entailed assistance from Moose Jaw Search and Rescue, the Moose Jaw Fire Department, Moose Jaw RCMP, numerous emergency personnel resources, and hundreds of volunteers from the community.

The Moose Jaw Police Service would like to take this moment to thank all the volunteers, emergency personnel, local businesses and restaurants that provided support, and the community of Moose Jaw who were involved in the search for Glen Bell.

The MJPS in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service continues to investigate, but no foul play is suspected at this time.
