U13 Mustangs Fall Just Short At Calgary Tournament

The U13 Moose Jaw Mustangs lacrosse team came up just one goal short as they fell 10 - 9 to the Denver Elite Blue in the Division B final at the Calgary Lacrosse Association’s prestigious Canada Day Tournament.

The Mustangs had a perfect four win record and were tied with Elite Blue with 19.5 points heading into the tournament championship.

On Friday the Mustangs defeated the Calgary Knights 16 - 0.

The Mustangs won two games on Saturday.

The Moose Jaw squad defeated the Calgary Hornets 10 - 3 in a morning game.

On Saturday afternoon the Mustangs defeated the Calgary Sabrecats 11 - 1.

And on Sunday the Mustangs defeated Strathmore Venom 7 - 1.
