U11 Mustangs Take Silver In Weekend Tournament

The U11 Moose Jaw Mustangs fell 11 - 7 to their namesake Chilliwack Mustangs in the Division B championship at the Calgary Lacrosse Association’s prestigious Canada Day Tournament.

The Moose Jaw Mustangs ended the regular tournament with three wins and one tie heading into the tournament final.

On Saturday the Moose Jaw squad defeated the Strathmore Venom 12 - 3.

The Mustangs continued their winning way defeating the High River Heat 13 - 1 later on Saturday afternoon.

In their first game on Sunday the Mustangs won their game 8 - 1 against the Calgary Knights.

The Mustangs suffered the first blemish on their winning record when they managed a 9 - 9 tie with Calgary Sabrecats earning a trip to the tournament final.
