WHL Announces Award To East Division Regular Season Champion
With the Moose Jaw Warriors and the rest of the East Division of the Western Hockey League (WHL) set to hit the ice for their 24 game regular season in the Regina Hub the WHL has announced a new award for the winner.
The WHL has inked a deal which will not only see the Regina Hub known as Subway Hub Centre but the East Division winner will be awarded the Subway Cup.
“The Western Hockey League is pleased to welcome Subway® as the official title partner for the WHL’s Hub Centre in Regina,” WHL Commissioner Ron Robison said in a statement. “A longtime local sponsor of the WHL’s East Division Clubs, Subway is the perfect partner to help us create even more excitement surrounding the Hub Centre in Regina.
