Water Main Break Closes Portion Of Southbound Lane Of Main Street

UPDATE - Crews will begin repairing the leak Sunday, February 13 and traffic will be temporarily blocked in both directions once repairs begin. The work is anticipated to be complete, and the road reopened to traffic, by 5:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2022.

The outside or parking lane for southbound traffic of Main Street North between Hall Street and Saskatchewan Street is presently closed to allow for repairs of a water main break.

If you are headed southbound on Main Street North please be advised one lane is closed to allow for the repair of a water main break. The City asks all drivers to drive cautiously and obey all signage for safety reasons - photo by Garret DeLaurier

Crews are undertaking repairs this afternoon and the restriction will be in place until further notice.

The City asks all drivers to obey posted signage/detours and exercise caution in work zones for the safety of everyone.
