Commencing today the City has initiated a city-wide plow of residential streets to deal with the weather caused rutting problem.

In a Friday news release the City announced due to the concerns raised from residents they will plow the city from east to west.

β€œThe most efficient way to address the situation is to have our crews and contractors begin work on the east side of the city and work their way west until all streets have been graded, which will take multiple days,” the City said in a release.

The City did not state how many graders will be involved in the days long plow but they state they will be using both City and contractor equipment to facilitate the work.

Additionally - despite not traditionally plowing the alleys - the City also announced they will be plowing the alleyways to allow for better resident and access by waste collection (garbage) trucks.

The alley plow will start in Zone 1 which has waste collection scheduled for Monday February 14th.
