Drive-Thru Vaccine Clinic Open - With No Lineups

It is the bane of the Province’s COVID - 19 recovery plan and that is the seemingly low turnout for drive-thru and walk-in clinics at many of the clinics throughout the province.

And Moose Jaw is no exception to the rule.

At 10:30 am this morning, Saturday April 10th, the line-up to get in was zero (0) minutes.

The City of Moose Jaw has invested heavily in creating a guarded queue along Lillooet Street West leading into the South Hill Fire Hall (750 Lilloet Street West) which on Saturday morning was empty.

The main sticking point for many individuals is the controversial AstraZeneca vaccine and the very rare side effects some have experienced.

People over 55 who have spoken to MJ Independent have said they are waiting for another vaccine - most notably Pfizer - and if the vaccine (AstraZeneca) is any good then why aren’t the politicians taking it themselves.

The SaskParty has responded all of their MLAs who are eligible for the vaccine have been vaccinated including Moose Jaw Wakamow MLA Greg Lawrence.
