Burger Cabin Owner Decides To Move On

It has been an institution that has attracted generations of Moose Javians with its’ famous mushroom burger to the park before there was even a Wakamow and now the owner of the Burger Cabin has announced she is calling it quits.

In a Saturday afternoon Facebook posting Burger Cabin owner, Carol Wray Sooker, announced after 33 years she is calling it quits and moving on to other endeavours.

In her Facebook posting Sooker said it is with mixed emotion she has decided to no longer be operating what is a Moose Jaw institution.

ADDED NOTE - Thank you to Carol and your staff for the burgers and fries over the years. It was really great to stop in and then go sit in the park, ever since a child, when it was the location of Moose Jaw’s Kentucky Fried Chicken. There are a lot of fond memories for many at the Burger Cabin and the park.
