Traffic Restrictions On High Street West Starting Monday

If you are heading down the 200 block of High Street West the City wants to remind you there are traffic restrictions replacing commencing Monday.

For the next few weeks High Street West, from Main Street to Third Ave NW will have traffic restrictions as Phase Five of Cast Iron Water Main Replacement is set to get underway.

Although one side of High Street will be closed to traffic the other lane not being used as a work area will be temporarily converted to two way traffic.

The City asks drivers to follow all signage and adjust their speed within the work zone for safety reasons.

During the construction period all businesses will remain open.

Phase Five will see 540 meters of cast iron water mains replaced from Main Street to 3rd Avenue NW.
