McHappy Day is Wednesday

Every year McDonalds holds McHappy Day and tomorrow Wednesday starting at 4 am until 4 am on Thursday you can help out the cause.

All three McDonalds locations in Moose Jaw - Main Streeet and MacDonald St W, WalMart on Thatcher Drive W and Thatcher Drive W and 9th Avenue NE - will be donating $1 from the proceeds of every Big Mac, Hot McCafe (coffee, tea or specialty) and Happy Meal sold during this 24 hour period to Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon.

Ronald McDonald House is a place where out of town families with children who are receiving medical care can stay there are private bedrooms, professionally equipped kitchens, laundry facilities, and playrooms for the kids. The nightly cost for a family is $11.50 per night and if the family cannot afford they can stay for free. There are presently 15 Ronald McDonald Houses in Canada.

Local celebrities, dignitaries and others will be helping out during the day.
