Two Construction Projects Kick Off Today
With the warm weather here the City of Moose Jaw has issued news releases about two construction projects they are starting today.
11th Ave NW from Athabasca St. to Caribou St
The city of Moose Jaw advises that a road reconstruction project on 11th Avenue NW will begin Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
11th Avenue NW from Athabasca St. to Caribou St. will be closed to traffic during construction, which is expected to be complete by Saturday, June 8, 2019 weather permitting.
The City asks affected residents to refrain from watering lawns during the construction period to avoid delays due to moisture. The City also asks residents in the construction zone to remove all vehicles from the street and front driveways while construction continues.
The City of Moose Jaw asks residents to exercise caution in construction areas and to obey posted signage.
Thatcher Drive and Main Street North
The City of Moose Jaw advises that beginning May 21, 2019, concrete repair will begin at the intersection of Thatcher Drive & Main St. North.
Work is expected to be completed May 21 and 22, weather permitting.
Traffic signage and barricading will be in place to accommodate this disruption. Cones and barricades will be in place for two weeks to protect the new concrete.
Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution in the area and to obey all posted detours and signs.
