Repairs To First Avenue SE Over Next Two Weeks

It was the subject of two years of local jokes and voting in the Canadian Automobile Association’s (CAA) Worst Road In Saskatchewan on-line competition - placing sixth in 2019 and seventh in 2018 - but after making the less than prestigious Top Ten two years in a row it is about to get some much needed repairs.

Weather permitting from May 13 - May 31 the 1st Avenue SE section of the “One Ways” will see roadway rehabilitation between Home Street East and Couteau Street East.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane during the construction period and the City asks drivers to exercise caution and obey signage.
