Change Of Appointment At Flight Training School

2 Canadian Forces Flight Training School held a Change of Appointment ceremony at 15 Wing Headquarters on July 19, 2024.

The appointment of School Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) was transferred from CWO Erik Keur to CWO Micheline Bertrand.

In early 2019, CWO Bertrand, an Aerospace Control Operator, was named one of the Top 20 Women in the Defence by Esprit de Corps Magazine, recognizing her leadership.

Bertrand was named amongst 21 women in 2019 at Esprit de Corps fifth annual Women in Defence and Security Awards.

The Esprit de Corps Women in Defence Award is presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution in the Canadian defence sector.

This transition marks the retirement of CWO Keur, who had joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1990.
