Friends Of The Forces Car Show On July 20th

All owners of vehicles of interest are invited to attend the Highway to Heroes Car Show to be held Saturday, July 20 at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds, 250 Thatcher Dr. E.

The show is sponsored by Friends of the Forces Fellowship and Serco Canada.

Gates for show cars open at 8:30 a.m. Spectator gates open at 10 a.m. The show is open to all vehicles of interest - cars, trucks, motorcycles and sports vehicles - and prizes will be awarded in five categories plus best of show.

Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for anyone six to 12 years; and free for children 5 and under, and for military personnel and veterans. Proceeds will assist military families, veterans and community organizations.

The show will salute the 100th anniversary of the RCAF.

Special musical performances will be given by Runaway Train, a popular rock band from Moose Jaw.

Military memorabilia spanning several decades will be on display as will a display of military vehicles from the Saskatchewan Dragoons.

Other attractions include: silent auction, 50-50 draw, raffle for car-related prizes, food vendors and face painting.
