Fireworks And A Downpour
The Canada Day Fireworks are done for another year wrapping up another year of the country’s birthday.
With the event approaching there was hopes that the rain would somehow miss the event.
However such thoughts were soon dismissed about ten minutes into the show what could be described as a torrential downpour with some lightning in the distance opened up.
The intense shower sent many fireworks watchers scrambling for cover.
Despite the rain the fireworks continued and thousands of people came out for the event.
The Canada Day Fireworks usually signal the start of the summer vacation season in Moose Jaw.
Here are some photos of the fireworks before the rain poured and the camera had to be put away.
