Co-op Holds Outdoor Family Day

It was perfect Goldilocks’ weather - not too hot, not too cold - as the Moose Jaw Co-op held their family day/kids carnival Sunday afternoon at their flagship 1st Avenue North main location.

The free event saw hundreds of children descend on the store’s parking lot for a free day of rides, bouncy castles, activities and even a look inside of an ambulance.

There were also members of the Moose Jaw Warriors and the City’s high schools had members of their sports teams helping out.

Here are a few photos from the event.

Who Is In Goal??? - It was tough to score with members of a certain junior hockey team tending to the opposing net - MJ Independent photo

Teeing It Up - playing baseball in sandals was allowed especially given the 20 C temperatures on Sunday - MJ Independent photo

Slalom Course - Children had the opportunity to drive electric cars. The activity was highly popular with a long line-up of children wanting to give it a try - MJ Independent photo
