Regionals Basketball Tips Off Friday

Five local teams are taking their first steps to what they hope is the HOOPLA provincial basketball championships starting with regionals this Friday.

Central Collegiate

At Central Collegiate the top seeded 4A Central Cyclones senior will tip off against the Notre Dane Hounds at 2:45 pm Friday March 14th.

The local basketball continues as the third seeded 4A Central Cyclones senior girls face 14th seed Kindersly with a 6:15 pm tip off.

Vanier Collegiate

The 4A fourth seeded Vanier Spirits tip off against 13th seeded Martensville at 6 pm on Friday.

North Battleford

The second seeded 5A Peacock Toilers senior boys are away in North Battleford and will play the - yet to be determined - winner of a bracket at 8 pm.

Estevan

The seventh seeded 5A Peacock Toilers senior girls are in Estevan where they will tip off at 1 pm Friday versus 10th seeded Balgonie.

There are games on Saturday for all teams dependent on their results from Friday’s games.

For anyone interested in watching the public is welcome but their a day pass cost.
