City Clarifies Who Has The Most Tax Arrears

The City has clarified who owes the most when it comes to property tax arrears on December 31, 2023.

It’s not commercial properties that owe the majority of outstanding property tax arrears - as stated at Council’s regular meeting - but in fact it is residential properties.

Event Financials Will Have To Wait

Work Delayed Until 2024 On Highway 363 Slump

Work to repair the causeway on Highway 363 (9th Avenue SW) south to 15 Wing will not be happening this year as the Ministry of Highways is still working on finalizing tender documents and geotechnical work still needs to be completed

Additionally a site survey needs to be held to determine the exact locations of graves which include Chief Black Bull and others who fought in what is commonly known as the Battle of Little Bighorn

The Ministry intends to meet and consult with affected parties
