Canucks U18 AA Season Ends In An Extra Inning

It was a disappointing end of the season for the Moose Jaw Canucks U18 AA team as they fell 13 - 11 against the Saskatoon Athletics in the U18 tier two provincial championship tournament.

The game was a hard hitting affair for both sides with the Athletics needing an extra inning to pull off the win.

The Athletics took a 13 - 9 lead in the top of the eighth inning.

The Canucks attempted to battle back but could only make up two runs in their half of the extra inning.

The Canucks had 15 hits in the game.

Spencer Craig led MooseJaw with four runs batted in.

The right-handed hitter was 4-for-5 on the day.

Karsen Pruden, Riley Cushway, and Kyren Ernest each had multiple hits for the Canucks.
