Local SHSAA Awards Given Out At Banquet - Meili Receives Major Provincial Recognition

The South Central District SHSAA (Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association) held their Awards night on Monday evening for the current school year.

The banquet was held to highlight a number people who have given countless time and energy to youth sports in and around our area and even in the province.

Meili will also be honoured at the SHSAA annual conference later this week.

The merit award is to honor people who have given outstanding leadership and service to the SHSAA and to the promotion of high school athletics in the Province of Saskatchewan.

Past local recipients include Rose Mary Hartney and Ned Andreoni.
