Moose Jaw U13 Female Spartans vs the Regina Fresh - photo story

The Premier Prairie Classic basketball tournament tipped off earlier today.

The event features 79 teams - approximately 1,000 athletes - from the three prairie provinces competing in U11 to high school athletes.

Here are some photos from a matchup in the U13 girls between the Moose Jaw Spartans in white and the Regina Fresh in dark blue.

The game saw the Fresh defeat the Spartans 42 - 36.

The tournament continues Saturday and Sunday.
