South Hill Royal Falcons Headed To Hoopla

South hill Royal Falcons 74 - Unity Warriors 68

In a back and forth game South Hill beat the Unity Warriors 74-68 and advance to Hoopla. 

In the First Quarter Unity jumped out to an early lead, but Wyatt Craik scored six quick points to respond on long mid range shots. 

Matt Artavia closed off the first quarter with a 3 to take a 19-17 lead. 

In the Second Quarter several South Hill offensive rebounds led to put back layups.

Unity's center Ethan Stifter, put up eight points in the quarter off strong play in the post.

Sifter would finish with a game high 26 points for Unity before fouling out. 

After the halftime (in the Third Quarter) both defences played well. Two 3s by Cooper Gregor closed out the quarter making the score 52 - 49. 

A very physical Fourth Quarter led to both teams being in Bonus with four minutes remaining in the quarter.

Drew Biette put up 11 points in the fourth, including scoring 8 points from the free throw line.

With under 30 seconds left, South Hill was up by 2 and had 2 defensive stops in a row to seal the game.
