Senior Girls - Toilers vs Cyclones Tuesday 8 pm at Peacock Collegiate

Tuesday evening is set to be the biggest night in local basketball as two major high school rivals go head to head in both male and female action.

At 6:20 pm the Central Cyclones led by head coach Barry Seaborn put up their perfect 6 - 0 record against the now very healthy Peacock Toilers.

The Toilers (4 - 2) started the season missing some key players due to the long flu that struck the team but the talented scoring sensation MaKungu Mukabazi is now healthy and in the lineup.

Is an upset in the making?

At 8 pm the Toilers senior girls (4 - 3) will take on the Cyclones (3 - 4) in senior girls play.

The last game the Toilers played they silenced the Assiniboia Rockets 58 - 54 in a shootout.

For the Cyclones went 2 - 1 in a tournament this past weekend in North Battleford so they are primed for the game.

The winner of this match could very well set themselves up for a much easier playoff run.

It is the battle of two younger teams who have both developed massively over the year.
