Palliser Remains Unbeaten

The King George Cougars A Boys basketball team ran into a defensive juggernaut on Tuesday night.

That “defensive juggernaut” was the Palliser Heights Huskies, who also happen to have an extremely potent and diverse offensive attack.

Palliser Heights carried a nearly insurmountable lead into the second half but King George kept energized, re-focused and produced a hard-fought, gutsy performance, right up until the final whistle.

The final score was 91-20, for Palliser Heights.

That's the second consecutive victory for the Huskies.

For Palliser Heights there were plenty of scoring options.

Both Emin Husseini and Hudson Belsher scored 17 points, Roque Spaan-Murray had 15, Sam Gaucher scored 12, Jesse Demarce 10 and both Caleb Artavia and Will Funston had 9.

Wyatt was King George's top scorer with 10 points.
