Toilers Collapse Leads To Loss To Hounds
With half of the second quarter over the Peacock Toilers JV boys team was a finally oiled machine.
The Toilers had managed to erase a 12 point deficit against the Notre Dame Hounds JV boys team to trail by a single point 24 - 23 and then the wheels fell off.
The Toilers sputtered just at the time the Hounds managed to kick their fame into gear and the usually defensively strong Toilers were struggling.
The Hounds would go on to defeat the Toilers 73 - 43 in Moose Jaw city basketball league action on Thursday evening.
The score in the First Quarter was Notre Dame 24 and Peacock 13.
Peacock would score 10 unanswered points making the score 24 - 23 about half way through the second quarter.
Notre Dame would then score 9 unanswered points leaving the Halftime Score 33 - 23.
The Third Quarter score was Notre Dame 50 and Peacock 31.
The Final Score was Notre Dame 73 and Peacock 44.
