Yorkton Run Over By Central Freight Train In Shutout Loss
Lead by three touchdowns by Keaton Belsher and an interception by Paul Barth for a touchdown the Central Cyclones have defeated the Yorkton Regional Raiders 26 - 0 in the 12-aside 5A South Rural League.
The win by the Cyclones is the first time in 23 years that Yorkton has suffered a shutout loss at home.
The Cyclones defence put in a stupendous effort effectively shutting down the Raiders offence.
Barth hit the Raiders offence with some massive tackles.
Also putting in a strong game was running back Javin Boynton who rushed for major yardage.
Coincidentally today is also Boynton’s birthday.

The win moves the Cyclones into a tie with the Raiders as both teams now sport a 3 - 1 record.
The Cyclones only loss of the season came at the hands of the Weyburn Eagles last week.
The Cyclones next action is at home Saturday October 14th at 3:15 pm when they face the Estevan Elecs.
