Moose Jaw Curlers Advance To High School Regionals

Four Moose Jaw high school curling teams have advanced to the regional finals after winning berths at district playdowns held in Gravelbourg this past Friday and Saturday.
GIRLS
Two girls teams from Moose Jaw qualified for regionals - Peacock and Cornerstone Christian School.
City champions Peacock were crowned the district champions with Cornerstone the silver medalists.

Peacock's record was 2 - 0 and Cornerstone was 1 - 1 in district playdowns.
The girls district championship was decided on Friday.
MIXED
In Mixed Curling the champion was decided on Friday with Glentworth grabbing the crown.
Peacock's Dayne Heisler rink defeated Central's Blake Montgomery rink 10 - 6 on Saturday to claim the silver medal and off to regionals.

The rink out of Glentworth School were the district mixed curling champions.
BOYS
In Saturday's silver medal game Vanier's Kendall Ebbett rink was up against Eyebrow.
Vanier defeated Eyebrow 12 - 7 to claim the silver medal.
The boys district championship was won on Friday by Avonlea.

The High School Regional Playoffs are March 3 and March 4 in Moose Jaw.
