Senior Girls/Boys High School Volleyball Semifinals Results

A quick breakdown of the semifinals results from the eight teams who were still in contention for the Moose Jaw city high school senior girls and senior boys volleyball league championship on Tuesday evening.
SENIOR GIRLS
Vanier Spirits versus Cornerstone Christian School Falcons
The Spirits won the match 3 - 1.
The Spirits now advance to the Moose Jaw city league championship on November 14th.

Although there is no post game interview - due to too many games all at the same time - Lee Behrns head coach of the Falcons told MJ Independent the team’s goal for the season was to win at least one game.
This was the Falcons first foray into senior girls league action, and they finished in fourth place far above their initial goal when they made the decision to enter the league.
The Spirits are now off to the senior girls Moose Jaw final game on November 14th.
Peacock Toilers versus Central Cyclones
The biggest most hotly contested matchup this season in senior girls volleyball was no fan disappointment Tuesday as the Toilers and Cyclones battled it out.
The Toilers had to come back from a 2 set to nothing deficit in the best of five sets match.

The Toilers managed to come back and defeated the Cyclones 3 - 2.
The Toilers are now off to the senior girls Moose Jaw final game on November 14th.

SENIOR BOYS
There were two high school volleyball senior boys semifinal games on Tuesday evening.
Central Cyclones versus the Cornerstone Christian School Falcons
The little school or is it the little Falcons that could were once again out competing in semifinal action.

The Cyclones are now off to the Moose Jaw city league championship game on November 15.
Assiniboia Rockets versus Vanier Vikings
The number one regular season team the Assiniboia Rockets hosted the Vanier Vikings on Tuesday evening.
The Rockets managed to fly high and defeated the visiting Vikings in the score of 3 - 1.
The Rockets are now off to the Moose Jaw city league championship game on November 15.
