High School Senior Volleyball Semi-Finals Set For Tuesday Evening
It’s going to be a full night of high school senior girl and senior boy volleyball action on Tuesday evening as the top four teams face off in Moose Jaw city league semifinal action.
SENIOR GIRLS
The second seed Peacock Toilers face the third seed Central Cyclones in what should be the premiere matchup of the evening.
The big question here - in what is the rubber match between the two teams - is who will win this season’s matchup and advance to the city finals
The game goes at 6:20 pm at Peacock Collegiate.

Spirits versus Falcons
The first seeded Vanier Spirits take on the fourth seeded Cornerstone Christian School Falcons at 6:20 pm at Vanier Collegiate.
This one could be a surprise upset depending on how the Spirits approach it.

The Falcons would like nothing better than to advance to the city final next week in what is their first year playing senior girls volleyball.
With the Briercrest Christian Academy Cougars eliminated is this the Cinderella story for the playoffs - stay tuned.
SENIOR BOYS
There is a pair of senior boys semi-finals set for Tuesday evening.
Rockets versus the Vikings
The first seeded Assiniboia Rockets take on the fourth seeded Vanier Vikings at the Assiniboia Comprehensive High School gym with a 7 pm start.
The winner advances to the November 15th Moose Jaw city league final.
Falcons versus the Cyclones
The third seeded Cornerstone Christian School Falcons take on the second seeded Central Cyclones at Central Collegiate.
Please note this is an 8 PM start so the potential is there to attend both of Cornerstone’s games if you hustle from Vanier Collegiate to Central Collegiate.
And of course the Spirits versus Falcons matchup doesn’t go into serious overtime.
If you decide to take in both, please drive sensibly and park responsibly in the neighbourhood.
