Major High School Senior Boys Tournament Wraps Up Saturday

It’s a big weekend for senior boys high school volleyball as the Moose Jaw High School Athletics Association (MJHSAA) is holding their annual tournament.
Featuring 16 teams from around the province - Assiniboia, Central Collegiate , Melville, Shaunavon, Lumsden, Cornerstone Christian School, Rouleau, Carnduff, Yorkton, Peacock, Grenall, Estevan, Mossbank, Vanier, Weyburn and Jean Paul II out of North Battleford - the tournament is Moose Jaw’s undisputed premiere senior boys volleyball tournament.
Play for Saturday gets underway at 8:30 am at all three venues Peacock Collegiate, Central Collegiate and Vanier Collegiate.
Final playoffs are scheduled to begin at 4 pm at Peacock Collegiate.
Admission cost is $3 at the door at each venue.
If you want a full day with the most games attend Peacock Collegiate as there are two active courts and playoff games are scheduled for there.
Also be aware that matches are scheduled for one hour and 15 minutes in length to accommodate three sets. But matches may start early if the match is won in two and not three sets.
