Improved Toilers Defeat Cyclones In Rematch - Photo Feature Game

On paper it looked like the Central Cyclones senior girls volleyball team should have an easy day with the Peacock Toilers.

The Cyclones had beaten the Toilers already this season - the first time in half a decade - and they are on a winning roll this season. Plus Central have more power and experience on their bench.

But it didn’t happen as many expected as the Toilers swept the Cyclones 3 - 0 to win the Tuesday night match up.

The set scores were 25 - 13, 25 - 25 - 14 and 25 - 16.

Cyclones are in black and Toilers are in black/green and orange.

SENIOR BOYS ACTION

In senior boys results there was an upset as the Central Cyclones defeated the undefeated Assiniboia Rockets 3 - 2.

In the other Tuesday evening senior boys matchup the Vanier Vikings defeated the Peacock Toilers 3 - 0.
