Free Fishing This Weekend
Anyone who would like to try their hand at fishing can do so this weekend for free in any body of water controlled by the province. Free fishing weekend is not valid in National Parks.
On July 9th and 10th you can cast your line and try your luck.
Fishing is free and no license is required for both resident and visitors. If you are taking your catch outside of Saskatchewan a license i required.
"Whether you are new to the sport or an avid angler, Free Fishing Weekend is a great opportunity to pick up a fishing rod," Environment Minister Dana Skoropad said in a statement.
"In Saskatchewan, we are fortunate to have some of the best freshwater fishing in our own backyard."
