Councillor Set To Receive Federal Honour

An active local politician is set to receive a prestigious honour and appointment from a federal government body this coming Tuesday.

On Tuesday Councillor Crystal Froese will be named an Honorary Colonel (HCol) of 2 Canadian Forces Flying Training School (2 CFFTS). Commandant of 2 CFFTS.

The appointment was announced by a news release issued by National Defense on Friday.

According to sources Froese is set to file her paperwork and commence her campaign for Mayor of Moose Jaw also later this week after receiving the appointment.
