Vanier Takes Further Steps To Prevent Spread Of COVID - 19 As Cases Being Investigated

With a number of confirmed cases of COVID - 19 being conformed in Vanier School students the decision has been made to move all Catholic studies classes to remote learning.

By moving to remote learning the objective is to reduce the number of classroom bubbles from three to two, a letter sent out to all parents said. (Read the entire e-mail below).

In response to questions circling amongst Vanier parents and also into the community the Saskatchewan Health Association told MJ Independent in an email response to a question why no outbreak has been declared at Vanier Collegiate because the cases were not transmitted at the school.

“There are several cases under investigation at Vanier Collegiate. At this time there is no evidence linking any of the cases to transmission within that school setting,” the SHA responded to MJ Independent as to why no outbreak has been declared at this time.
