Spray Parks Opening Tomorrow
At first they said the spray parks might open earlier than the planned June 14th opening if the weather was warmer, but it could not be until next week due to necessary inspection.
But late today the Parks and Recreation Department has announced the words most kids in town want to hear - starting tomorrow, June 4th, all spray parks are opening ten (10) days earlier than planned.
Tomorrow’s predicted daytime high is 31C making the spray parks a likely popular attraction.
The City of Moose Jaw encourages people to celebrate June is Parks and Recreation Month at one of the following spray parks:
Crescent Park Spray Park - 200 Block of Fairford St. E
1996 Summer Games Spray Park - 700 Block of 16th Ave SW
Elgin Park Spray Park (wheelchair accessible) - 8th Avenue NW and Hall St. W
Co-op East End Spray Park (wheelchair accessible) - 9th Avenue NE and Ominica St. E
