Holy Trinity Updates Staff And Parents About School Closure

With the Easter weekend starting tomorrow Holy Trinity Catholic School Division (HTCSD) wanted to update parents about the status of their school closures in Moose Jaw.

In an April 1st letter to parents and staff HTCSD superintendent Sean Chase wrote the Division remains in constant communication with public health and so far the Division is anticipating returning to class at the end of the Easter break on April 12th.

“Our plan is to continue that same communication process with Health throughout the Easter break. In the event that we do receive that recommendation, we will communicate with all affected stakeholders as quickly as possible knowledgeable that preparation time is critical. At this point, our intent remains to return to school on Monday, April 12th for face-to-face instruction,” the letter states.

The letter asks parents and staff to read an attached letter from the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) in an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID - 19 in the community.

HTCSD closed its Moose Jaw schools and moved to on-line learning on March 30th. The Division closed their schools after consultation with Public Health over concerns of COVID - 19 Variants Of Concern (VOC) emerging in Moose Jaw and the potential for further spread.
