City Flushing Main Line

As part of he commissioning of the new main water transmission line installed in 2018 from the Buffalo Pound Treatment Plant the line is presently being flushed

According to the City there is no major leak at the High Service Reservoir Pumphouse on Grafton Avenue (north of Laurier Street West) but rather the water is being run through as part of the commissioning and transition from the old water transmission line to the new line.

Part of the prep work involves flushing and disinfecting the new line to ensure it is fully clean before it transmits our drinking water, and residents may notice the water entering the Spring Creek.
