First Section Paved

Work is slated to continue on a replacement project on Highland Road.

So far the section from Thatcher Drive East to McKenzie Lane has been repaved.

Beginning tomorrow, Monday, August 10 the north section of the project will commence. The work is slated to be completed on August 14th weather permitting.

Repaving will occur between the area south of Haultain Dr. and the Highway 1 approach at Diefenbaker Drive.

The exit to Highland Road from Highway 1 will be closed during construction.

Access to the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital is by utilizing Diefenbaker Drive via Main Street North.

The construction area will be closed to traffic while paving occurs.

All businesses in the area will be open and access is available on Highland Road (up to the construction site.
