Environment Canada Issues Severe Thunderstorm Watch

It may have started out as a bright sun shiny day but Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Moose Jaw and area.

Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for developing severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Intense lightning is likely with any thunderstorm that develops. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Be prepared for severe weather. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.
