• Regular Transit and Paratransit fees waived until further notice.
Regular Transit hours are 9:55 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
Dial A Bus service available between 7:00 a.m. and 9:55 a.m. (book by 9:15) and 5:15 to 7:00 p.m. (book by 6:15) Monday-Friday.
Paratransit available Monday to Friday – 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. by appointment. Paratransit will operate Saturdays between 9:55 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. by appointment. Call 306-694-4488 to request Dial A Bus and Paratransit service.
• Utility disconnections for non-payment be discontinued effective immediately and collections processes be relaxed and focus on longer-term payment arrangements.
• Seizures of properties for non-payment of taxes be discontinued effective immediately.
The City of Moose Jaw also reminds residents that the only material that should be flushed down the toilet is toilet paper.
Other items, including wet wipes and paper towels, should be thrown in the garbage.
Even wipes that promise they are “flushable” do not sufficiently break down in wastewater and could get stuck to your home’s plumbing system and/or clog pipes.
Paper towels, tissues, napkins, rags and disposable wipes are among the items that can damage and clog lines, potentially sending sewage back up into your home or causing malfunctions at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
