Gail Whitfield Seeks Position On Prairie South Board

Prairie South School Divison has another candidate for Subdivision Six as Gail Whitfield has been nominated for election. Subdivison Six (Moose Jaw) has five Board Members At Large.

According to her on-line profile Whitfield desires to make each of the schools with the Prairie South School Division a school were all students are proud to attend.

“I think we should strive to make every school in the division a school that all students would be proud to attend.  Staff and parent input is paramount in accomplishing this goal,” her on-line profile reads.

Whitfield brings with her past experience on the school board serving for five years during the amalgamation of the three school divisions that now make up Prairie South.

Her and her husband retired to Moose Jaw after 34 years on the farm. They have three children and five grandchildren.

She was employed with the Moose Jaw Police Service for 19 1/2 years, 15 years as a Communications Officer and 4 1/2 years as Administrative Assistant to the School Liaison Officers, Victim Services, along with administration of the Alarm Bylaw.
