Wendy Vincent Seeking Position On Prairie South Board

Prairie South School Divison has another candidate for Subdivision Six as Wendy Vincent has been nominated for election. Subdivison Six (Moose Jaw) has five Board Members At Large.

According to her on-line profile hands on iinvolvement is what Vincent brings with her if she is elected to the Prairie South board.

“I have been very involved with the School Community Council (SCC) at both the Elementary and High School levels. I served as the Chairperson of the Sunningdale SCC for eight years and I have been serving on the Central Collegiate SCC for the past six years. Through those years, I have supported the Learning Improvement Plans at both schools and I have had the privilege of advocating for student’s well-being, planning academic and social activities and promoting leadership and school spirit,” her on-line profile states.

Additionally she has served as the Chairperson for the Sunningdale/VLA/Westpark Community Association for ten years, and for the past eight years been the Moose Jaw Youth Flag Football League Coordinator.

Vincent is a Registered Dental Hygienist with 30 years of experience. She believes her professionalism, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and extensive community and school involvement would makeher a valued asset as a Trustee for the PSSD.
