City Offering Free Skating And Turf Time On Thanksgiving Day

For those who what want to go out and be active for Family Day the City of Moose Jaw is offering a couple of free times to skate or hit the turf on Thanksgiving Day.

The only catch is because to the COVID - 19 restrictions you have to pre-register.

Thanksgiving Monday means free turf time at the Yara Centre during the Noon and Supper Hours - MJ Independent photo

The Thanksgiving Day, October 12th free schedule is:

Free skating at the Kinsmen Sportsplex arena: 1:30–2:30 p.m. and 2:45-3:45 p.m.

Free turf time at Yara Centre: Noon-1:00 p.m. and 6:00-7:00 p.m.

If you want to go swimming there are additional family swim times at the Kinsmen Sportsplex pool on October 12: 1:00-2:45 p.m. and 3:15-5:00 p.m. Regular rates will apply.

The Kinsmen Sportsplex and Yara Centre will operate with regular hours today Sunday, October 11.

You must book ahead to secure your spot for all recreation activities at City of Moose Jaw facilities.
