Heather Eby Seeks Re-Election
Incumbent Councillor Heather Eby is seeking re-election.
According to her election profile on the City’s election site Eby is seeking to be re-elected in order to be part of shaping the future of Moose Jaw.
“Heather is community minded and brings experience, knowledge and understanding of Council processes, procedures and policies to the table. She looks forward to playing a part in shaping Moose Jaws future!” her profile reads.
First elected in 2009 Eby was defeated in the 2016 Civic Election but returned to Council when elected in the 2018 byelection to replace Councillor Don Mitchell who resigned to take care of his ailing wife Martha Tracey.
She has been self employed for 27 years as a registered massage therapist.
Eby has served on various boards and committees, including the Board of Police Commissioners, the Moose Jaw Public Library Board, the Murals Board, Parks and Rec Advisory Committee, Economic Development Commission and the Wakamow Valley Board.
She also lists on her profile holding Moose Jaw Warriors season tickets, an active member in Ironwood Family Fitness and a member of the Victory Church.
