Canadian Conservation Corps Topic For Friday Evening Meeting

Due to technical difficulties beyond their control the planned presentation by the Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation about their mobile fish hatchery at tomorrow evening’s meeting of the Moose Jaw Nature Society has been cancelled until a later date.

But with that said the Moose Jaw Nature Society will be presenting an alternative and equally informative program about the Canadian Conservation Corps (CCC).

Presented by Jasmine Hillier, who is an intern with the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, the program will discuss the CCC and how to become part of the unique experience. The Canadian Wildlife Federations’ Canadian Conservation Corps is a three part program designed to deeply engage young Canadians in our natural and cultural heritage through service, adventure and reflection.

The meeting will take place at St Mark’s Presbyterian Church 80 High Street East from 6:30 - 8 pm and is free to attend. There will be refreshments afterwards. Memberships will be available for purchase for those who so wish to do so.
