Two Free Christmas Dinners Offered By Local Organizations

A reminder for those who have nowhere to go or you want to share Christmas dinner with others there are two free community dinners to attend on Christmas day.

St. Andrew's United Church located at 60 Athabasca Street East is offering its dinner at 3:30 pm.

Bobby's Place Olde World Tavern located at 63B High Street East is offering their traditional dinner beginning at 3:00 pm.

The dinners are both offered for a variety of reasons right from those who cannot afford to make their own Christmas dinner, to others who are alone without family and friends in the community, senior couples with no grandchildren in the community or a variety of other reasons. Both are offered in a non-judgemental manner and simply want to spread the feelings of the holidays to everyone.

If you need a ride to the Bobby’s dinner they will provide it free of charge simply give them a call at 306 693-3258.
