Chinese Mural Moving

A mural which once adorned the west wall of 240 High Street West is on the move. Called the Chinese Mural it was painted by Tony Segale but it is on the move to another location.

The mural commemorates the Chinese community in Moose Jaw and the integeral role they had in the city’s development.

At their December 12th meeting the Murals Project Management Committee discussed the removal of the mural and its new hanging place. We will let you know when we find out where its new home is.

The Murals of Moose Jaw management group looks after 47 murals in various locations throughout Moose Jaw.
