Building Permits On An Upwards Trend

They are often seen as a sign of growth and a strengthening economy and building permit numbers continue the trend upwards in 2019 compared to last year.

So far in 2019 a total of 195 building permits with a value of $17.4 million have been issued by City. At this point in 2018 a total of 168 building permits have been issued with a value of $13.1 million.

August saw 24 permits issued compared to 18 in August 2018. The value in 2019 was worth $1.27 more than the same month in 2018.

The year over year rising trend in permits issued continued into September.
