Things Not Looking Good For Proposed Solar Farm

Robert Thomas

It doesn't look like MackSun Solar will be constructing its proposed 10 Megawatt solar power farm in Moose Jaw, as SaskPower has announced that a competitor has won the bid.

According to a report in the Estevan Mercury, and  the Crown Corporation has plans elsewhere and they don't include the Friendly City.

MackSun Solar had hoped to establish the facility within the City and also help create a SaskPolytechnic program to compliment it.

It was earlier reported that MackSolar had received an extension on a proposal to purchase city land.
